Primetime snowfall, new and improved park set-up, and a vibe that will make you think you’re in the heart of Aspen. Canyons Resort, located only four miles from Park City, has a little bit of everything. Ranging from powder bowls, steep and deep chutes, progressive terrain parks, and jaw-dropping views all around – riding here will never disappoint.
As the chosen resort for the second stop of the Oakley Progression Sessions, the girls that attend will have endless amounts of options on what type of feature they want to hit and what new tricks they want to add to their repertoire. This is the first season that the Canyons have had a top-to-bottom park, adding up to 1.1 miles in length, the longest in the state of Utah. With easy access from Saddleback Express, all shredders have the opportunity to start sending it in this primetime park.
Local ripper, Erika Vikander has been taking over the contest world the past few seasons and straight up destroys the park scene – properly representing what kind of snowboarding comes from the Canyons. Coaches for this Progression Session will be Mary Walsh, Grete Eliassen, Marie-France Roy and Dominique Vallee – so get ready to be pushed to the limit and have one hell of a time. This session will get you amped and ready to strap in. Canyons is one snazzy mountain, with plenty of ritz to go with the legit mountain scene creating a seriously unique atmosphere.
