After giving birth to the Peacepipe last season, Danny Davis and park-building crew Snow Park Technologies decided to host a sophomore event at Squaw Valley with a few key improvements—namely some more traditional airs added to the halfpipe and jib sections. The result was Peacepark, a feather in Burton’s [Snowboarding] cap that Snowboarder magazine senior editor Tom Monterosso described as, “a smashing success. The weather at Squaw was perfect and the set-up was incredible.”

RESORT [Snowboarding] is the last in a four-part series that included BACKCOUNTRY [Snowboarding], STREET [Snowboarding], and WOMEN’S [Snowboarding]. Released every other week, the series covered the four major bases Burton considers pillars of the sport. Burton scoured the globe to put together an incredible array of footage, boiling it down to four 15- to 18-minute segments. The result is [Snowboarding], a free series available for download on Burton’s website or at TransWorld Snowboarding.
