Real Snow 2017 returns with 6 new urban snowboarding edits; video

On Wednesday, X Games unveiled six brand new urban snowboarding edits for the 2017 edition of its Real Snow video competition:

With a half dozen 90-second clips, Real Snow 2017 features edits from of the world’s best urban snowboarders, which will be voted on by a panel of judges with the winner receiving the coveted X Games gold medal.

This year includes clips from guys like Jesse Paul, Dylan Thompson and Anto Chamberland. Needless to say, the judges definitely have their work cut out for them.

There’s Minnesota native and 2014 TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING Rookie of the Year Justin Fronius getting creative with some gap work in his home state:

Frank Bourgeois, the 2016 Real Snow “Fan Favorite” and silver medal winner, throws down some huge jibs north of the border:

And then there’s Jesse Paul, fresh off his 2016 TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING Rookie of the Year award, showcasing some jaw-dropping rail skills:

The other edits can be seen on the X Games website, where you can also vote for your favorite clip. Users are allowed to vote for one video per day, per browser until voting ends Sunday, March 26, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Medal winners will be announced on Saturday, March 26 during the “World of X Games” show broadcast on ABC at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, while the Fan Favorite vote winner will be announced on XGames.com on Monday, March 27.
