Words: So-Gnar

Colorado is an incredible place, in our minds, the best state in the U.S. We have been earning our residency over the past decade and finally feel like we can call it our home. We have paying our dues, respecting the locals and having tons of fun along the journey.

We recently launched a new series called “In Colorado We Trust.” This graphic is dedicated to all those that LOVE Colorado and are representing the state of Colorado through their talents all over the globe! Whether you love the weather, the snow, the music or the mountains, this one’s for you. We have tee shirts available at our online store and tee’s and hoodies available at TS Boardshop and Division West. We also have some available at our online store. We are proud to announce that our friend Michal Menert, a Colorado resident, a producer, dj, artist and also a snowboarder is joining us for this launch. Michal represents Colorado with his incredible energy as a Dj, holding it down for himself and the Pretty Lights Music label based out of Fort Collins.

Michal recently played at Snowboard On The Rocks. When Michal and Milbery met, the brains activated on some ideas of projects to link up on and came up with a new SO-GNAR project called “Shredded Beats.”

The webisode series will be featuring the two snowboarding, making music, showing the behind-the-scenes footage of them traveling, and living they love to live. It should a great insight to both of their lives and their crafts as artists with different mediums. The first episode will be hitting the internet through so-gnar.com and michalmenert.com in early to mid December. The series will contain a total of 4 episodes throughout the season, with the dates to be released at a later date.

The concept is based on the combination of Menert’s music being remixed with a track of choice by the So-Gnar crew. The footage will feature the So-Gnar crew along with some of their close friends and even, Menert snowboarding together. Rumor has it, the two will be working with Summit 8 TV and co-producing a television series that is scheduled to launch early January.

Artistic minds think alike, let the adventures begin. Check out Michal Menert’s tour schedule and if you haven’t caught his live show, we recommend you go check it, check it , out.

Come on Colorado, support your independent’s here and rep your state with our movement through art, snowboarding and music.
