Meet Michael Hsiung

By: Tom Morin

Michael Hsiung
If you're into gnarwhales, mermen, Dungeons and Dragons, romance and mustaces then you should keep reading. If you're not, then keep reading anyway, don't be a premature decisionator. Michael Hsiung is an LA based artist who has done some creating for Hurley, Enjoi and most importantly himself. He's brought to life some cool and creative creations; and he's a mustache aficionado, and very proud of his own. It is a pretty, pretty, pretty rad stache (read like Larry David says it). He's so proud of his lip hair that it's the logo of his website www.michaelchsiung.com, and he wrote the following of himself and his killer lipbrow:

"Michael C Hsiung is characterized by: large mustache (one of the few remaining facially hairy Asians surviving today) with all of the species capable of reaching one ton or more in weight; herbivorous diet; and a thin yellow protective skin, 1.5-5 cm thick, formed from layers of collagen positioned in a lattice structure; and a relatively small brain for a mammal of his size (400-600g). . Michael is prized for its mustache, sometimes his art. Not a true mustache, it is made of thickly matted hair that grows from the skull without skeletal support. Michael has acute hearing and sense of smell, but poor eyesight over any distance. Michael C. Hsiung will probably live to be about 50 years old or more."

So once again, if your into gnarwhales, romance, Dungeons and Dragons, mermen, mustaches, Asian guys or Asian guys with mustaches, you should cruise over to his site or www.hurley.com. Check out a few of his works and a little introduction video below courtesy of Hurley:

A shot in the ass is only a flesh wound, especially when you're half ass. Or maybe their half horse, I don't know it's not my art, and I'm not an animal ass expert. Although, I am an expert at doing things half-assed.

A dapper merman getting his drink, smoke and T.V. on.

A tribute to being passive.
