Hurley's Walk the Walk 2011 @ US Open of Surfing

There was definitely celebrating to be had when the students of Grossmont High from San Diego took the prize for Hurley's "Walk the Walk", world's largest High School fashion competition best described as "Friday Night Football" x "Glee" meets "Project Runway."

With 25,000 on the line and bragging rights to boot, 5 High Schools from all over the United States and Canada were chosen to strut, dance and express themselves judged on style, creativity, originality and energy for the grand prize.

All the schools brought energetic choreography which included back flips, back handsprings, unicycles, beachcruising, skateboarding, powerful and creative themes and all around badassness.



Hosted by Vanessa Hudgens of "High School Musical" and judged by a panel of celebrities including: the one and only Bob Hurley, P-Rod, supermodel Marissa Miller, Rob Machado, Pro surfers Carissa Moore and Laura Enever and many more.
