Billabong Girls Win 2011 Brand Of The Year At SIMA Industry Awards
Anaheim, CA. – Billabong Girls won the “Women’s Apparel Brand of the Year” at the 8th Annual SIMA Image Awards at the Anaheim House of Blues last week, to a standing room only crowd of over 700 industry attendees.
“Women’s Apparel Brand of the Year” the industry’s most prestigious title, was awarded to the women’s apparel brand that featured the most exciting designs, increased brand appeal, and business growth at retail in 2010.
“It was an honor to win Women’s Brand of the Year, a true accomplishment for a team of designers and marketers who love this Industry and what it stands for,” said Candy Harris, Billabong Women’s Brand Director.
To win a coveted top honor like this requires the work of a whole staff.
“Such an honor to be recognized by the industry” said Mandy Robinson, Design Director for Billabong Girls. “I am grateful to our design and merchandising team for continuing to raise the creative bar within the juniors market and striving each season to elevate the brand.”
