The final day of the 2013 Billabong Pipeline Masters in Memory of Andy Irons is shaping up to be one of the best days ever for professional surfing. A swell with wave faces up to 18 feet is predicted to hit the North Shore of Oahu late Friday night and peak Saturday morning. Light offshore winds are also predicted, meaning giant tubes will be on offer to the remaining surfers.
Along with the epic conditions, there's the ASP world title battle between Kelly Slater and Mick Fanning and the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing showdown between John John Florence, Jeremy Flores, Sebastian Zietz, and Michel Bourez. The best part is that the guys still in the event are some of the most fearless Pipeline surfers on the World Tour—10-point rides could be dropping all day.
