Billabong Pro Relocates To Bakio

October 21, 2003 (Mundaka, Basque Country) The Billabong Pro Mundaka relocated this morning for a possible 9am (local time) start. Competitors in remaining round one heats of the US$250,000 World Championship Tournament (WCT) are up first, with round two following if conditions allow.

Small 2ft (0.5m) waves were on offer this morning at Mundaka, with bigger 3-4 ft (1.3m) surf expected at Bakio.

Due to the lack of phone lines and infrastructure at Bakio, no update will be available until the end of surfing action today.
