Curran Keeps On Winning

Nathianel Curran kept to his winning ways this past weekend by taking the 4 Star O'Neill Sabastian Inlet Pro. He was the only non-Floridian in the Final, which consisted of Nate along with: Aaron Cormican, Cory Lopez and Blake Jones. Curran who won the US Open and finished first on the WQS tour, now is set take his shredding to the Big Leagues for his first WCT contest at Snapper Rocks in Australia. A return to old-school measuring techniques is in order

Consider two representations of two very big waves, below. The first is a photograph of Mike Parsons at Cortes Bank. The second is a video of Garrett McNamara near Nazare, Portugal. Now take out some measuring tape and make the distance of one foot between your hands. That's the amount, according to the Billabong XXL committee, that McNamara's wave is bigger than Parsons's wave.
