Less than a week after the grand unveiling of Kai Neville's new project LOST ATLAS, of which Dane is one of the stars, comes this mini-movie on Dane's blog, cleverly titled LOST INTEREST. It's the latest in a series of DIY mini-films (literally) done by Dane and his filmer Mini. One has to appreciate the self-deprecating humor that Mr. Reynolds displays, as well as holy shit does Dane rip in this clip. Watching Dane surf perfect Mexican pointbreaks will never get old.
Consider two representations of two very big waves, below. The first is a photograph of Mike Parsons at Cortes Bank. The second is a video of Garrett McNamara near Nazare, Portugal. Now take out some measuring tape and make the distance of one foot between your hands. That's the amount, according to the Billabong XXL committee, that McNamara's wave is bigger than Parsons's wave.

Use of cliched anti establishment title? Check. Shots of indigenous children and graffitti? Check. footage of the surfers sitting in the airport listening to ipods? double check...You guys fucking nailed it. Just so, like, i dont know, just like, fucking GROUNDBREAKING!!!,...you know?
