Bobby retorts

By: Janos Palko

Bobby Martinez' post-heat interview heard-round-the-world this past weekend in New York got him kicked out of the contest, and effectively retired him from ASP-sanctioned professional surfing as far as the eye can see. "Record" for Largest Wave Ever Ridden Trivializes Big-Wave Surfing

A return to old-school measuring techniques is in order

Consider two representations of two very big waves, below. The first is a photograph of Mike Parsons at Cortes Bank. The second is a video of Garrett McNamara near Nazare, Portugal. Now take out some measuring tape and make the distance of one foot between your hands. Bobby get off your soapbox! Kelly has how many World Title! Count them 10. It sounds like you got bit by Green-Eye Fever.
Bobbi if your surfing generated as much power as your mouth then you would still be on tour, you used your freedom of speech and got what you wanted, so why cry over it.
Will you be miss, hopefully but doubtful.
