Reef Wins Da Hui Backdoor Shootout

By: Janos Palko

With no webcast, web-site, or media coverage, Da Hui's Backdoor Shootout always slips under the radar a bit, scoring flawless Pipeline for the most prestigious grassroots competition on the island.

The only coverage we get is in the form of Mike Prickett's highlight reels, which can be found below. Still, without scores you can't tell how the competition side of things unfolded, but suffice to say everyone got shacked off their arses, and at the end Reef Mcintosh was holding a giant cardboard check.

That's the amount, according to the Billabong XXL committee, that McNamara's wave is bigger than Parsons's wave.
