Etnies Girl Invades New York City

Pro riders, Fashion, Music and Fun Abound at Fall 2005 Launch Party

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (April 15, 2005) — etnies Girl showed its spirit and flaunted its newest fashions last week in New York City in celebration of the Fall 2005 footwear, apparel and accessories launch. The event was held at Movida in the West Village of Manhattan. Team riders, media and many of etnies Girl’s closest friends came out to show support.

Members of the etnies Girl skate and surf teams who made the trek from California to attend the party included pro skateboarders Elissa Steamer and Lauren Perkins and pro surfer Mary Osborne.

The crowd, made up of etnies family, friends, industry, media, paparazzi and retailers, rocked out and enjoyed skateboarding and BMX footage on the big screen. If you were there, you know. If you weren’t—then maybe next time.
