Eurosima Outlines Its Trade-Show Partnerships

EUROSIMA (European Surf Industry Manufacturers Association), a non-profit organisation, founded in 1999, represents the interests of the European gliss industry manufacturers. It has three main missions: a) it is the voice of the surf industry, b) it represents the industry in its negotiations with institutions, c) and guarantees attendance at the best European trade shows.

Eurosima has initiated many federative events in the industry, and this association contributes to support environmental efforts.

The President, François Payot, and Eurosima’s Board of Directors, have finalised several partnership contracts with European exhibit organisers for the year 2003 and future years.

Eurosima is partner of SIG in Grenoble for January and the year to come; Eurosima and SIG are working together on the 2004 edition of the trade show. This show gives our members a global vision of the ?Mountain? market and is a reference in the winter boardsport universe.

The association is also a partner in the ISPO winter (February) and summer sessions (June) in Munich, Germany. This trade show legitimizes the gliss sports industry in a global sports universe.

Finally, the Californian “100% boardsports” trade shows specialist, ASR, will organise its first European trade show in July in Anglet, France and is benefiting from Eurosima’s support. The two entities have recently signed a five-year agreement contract.

The European Surf Industry Manufacturers Association, gives his members a global representation in each universe: the sports market with ISPO, the board sports market with ASR Europe and the mountain sports market with the SIG.

The presentation is completed with Eurosima’s support to a more festive sports event, the LOB 2003, European Boardsports Show, in Genova, Italy, next July.
