Friday Forecast For Jan 12: Northeast

Northeast:
High pressure over the mid-Atlantic sends a moderate bump from the southeast on Friday afternoon and holds on Saturday BUT cold wet weather returns to the northeast. This shouldn’t be a shock to anyone though as we are in the middle of January. Fun chest high+ windswell arrives on Tuesday. Potential for bigger surf the 2nd half of week as a front sliding off the landmass interacts with the high in the Atlantic. Tides are low at sunrise and high at lunch and medium at sunset. Water temps are 6/5/4 fullsuit material IF you’re nuts to paddle out in the freezing rain. My suggestion- don’t!
