Friday Forecast For Jan 12: Outer Banks

Outer Banks:
The Atlantic high gives the southern Outerbanks meager waist high waves this weekend and partly cloudy skies so it’s won’t really be worth it to hang at the beach unfortunately. Southerly waist high+ windswell shows for Tuesday so plan your work day accordingly. Forecast charts have solid surf for next Thursday afternoon but always read the charts with a grain of salt that far out. Or dream of big surf if you want to ’cause you’re bored at work next week. Water is 4/3 material north of Hatteras and 3/2 south. Tides are low at sunrise, high at lunch, and medium at sunset.
