July kicks off summer with new season of “M80″and two new programming blocks.
LOS ANGELES, CA – FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, launches the fifth season of “M80” on Wednesday July 2, beginning at 8:00pm ET/PT. July also marks the beginning of the summer season, and FUEL TV is premiering two new programming blocks, including “Meet & Brotatoes” on Monday nights and “Wake Steady” on Tuesday nights.
SUMMER SEASON LAUNCHES
M80 season 5 – 8:00pm ET/PT
M80’s fifth season brings you another blast of freestyle motocross action. Get an inside look at a new array of featured riders, as well as the next crop of up-and-comers “Blowin’ Up” on the scene. This season M80 follows FMX riders as they dial in a new trick, and the cameras go global to follow events, tours, and athletes around the world. Check out riders such as Lance Coury and Jeremy McGrath, and of course, there are new tantalizing “Token Hotties” ready to host it all.

Monday nights: “Meet & Brotatoes” – 8:00pm ET/PT

United by Fate: Episode 3 – 8:00pm ET/PT in Skate @ 8
Episode 3 of United By Fate features segments from Jake Duncombe and Matt Mumford, which can only be described as being like nothing else you’ve ever seen. Jake, Matt, and the rest of the Globe skate team kill it in this new installment as the black van continues its enigmatic pursuit.
Billabong Pro Teahupoo – 8:00pm ET/PT
The top 45 male surfers in the world compete in the death-defying barrels of the Billabong Pro Teahupoo looking for a chance at glory and a shot at the World Champion Title. Coming into the contest, Floridian Kelly Slater was the overall ratings leader, but will have to face stiff competition from the best in the world, including Australians Mick Fanning and Taj Burrow, Hawaiians Andy and Bruce Irons, and American C.J. Hobgood. But the surprise comes when Brazilian wild card Bruno Santos and a local wild card Manoa Drollet both make the finals.

The Red Bull surf team travels to Tahiti to test out a revolutionary camera and ends up in the middle of the biggest swell of the year at Teahupoo.
Dawn of the Stone Age – 1:00am PT/4:00am ET in Unprotected Sets
Dawn of the Stone Age is the animated adventure of a surfing Caveman, soul surfer Johnny Stone, pro surfers Bruce Irons, Dean Morrison and Ozzie Wright, and a host of other North Shore locals. The hi-jinx that occur as all these characters cross paths during a few days of the winter season on Oahu climaxes at the Volcom Pipe Contest, where the final heat for one-trillion dollars is battled out between Bruce, Dean, Johnny Stone, and Caveman!
North Shore Bowl Jam – 8:00pm ET/PT in Skate @ 8
Some people are calling this one of the best bowl contests ever! We think you’ll agree after you watch some of the biggest names in skateboarding battle it out in Hawaii. Featuring Danny Way, Rune Glifberg, Bob Burnquist, Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain, Omar Haassan, Chris Miller, Jeff Grosso, Jimmy “The Greek” Marcus, and way too many other rippers we don’t have time to name.
The Man Who Souled the World – 8:00pm ET/PT
The Man Who Souled The World tells the story of Steve Rocco, the irreverent genius who transformed the skateboard industry from corporate to skater owned with a do-it-yourself punk attitude. Steve’s antics and entrepreneurial impact on the skateboard business are huge and have ultimately had a significant impact on broader mainstream culture as Steve is the man who gave Spike Jonze his first directing gig, discovered Jason Lee and created Big Brother magazine, which became the genesis of Jackass.
