Headworx are set to take their new Spring-Summer 2006 range on the road this month. The first range designed under the company’s new owners will be on show at The Park streetwear trade show in Manchester this weekend and then at the Surf Shop UK trade show in Exeter in September.
The Park is a contemporary streetwear trade show which will take place in The Great Northern Building in Deansgate, Manchester from 21st — 23rd August. It is an appointment led show where retail buyers can network with the best in boardsports related fashion brands in a relaxed working atmosphere. Headworx fits the mould of cutting edge brands that choose The Park as a platform to showcase the true musical, artistic and street influences of today’s boardsports fashions.
Through its Riders Choice product segment, Headworx retains a definite surf-inspired feel, which translates well to other board sports and outdoor pursuits. The Surf Shop Expo at Westpoint, Exeter (6th — 8th September) will be an opportunity for buyers to browse Headworx among other established and authentic boardsports brands.
The Headworx SS06 range is a clear reflection of the brands thoughts and ideals — that there is a real and genuine lifestyle attached to the boardsports that we love. The range has three key menswear areas — Rider’s Choice, Directional and Essentials along with a directional Boyswear range. The Rider’s Choice has been put together keeping the rider’s technical requirements in mind, the Directional area is the ‘after surf’, more fashion-inspired range and Essentials comprises everyday, casual wear. The Boyswear directional range is a key growth area for the brand and has taken inspiration from all aspects of youth culture.
Co-Owner Jos Ruiterman said: “It’s been four hard months since we bought Headworx and we now have out first range ready. It’s so rewarding to see sampled products that translate our thoughts, aspirations and hard work into something tangible.
