Newport Beach, CA (May 16, 2005) Longtime Orange County Surf Retailer Jack’s Surfboards are celebrating their recent store opening in Corona Del Mar, and using the opportunity to help support the Surfrider Foundation and their efforts to protect our beach and coastal environments.
This Friday, May 20th, Jack’s Surfboards will be hosting a full weekend of festivities at their new store, located in the Corona Del Mar Plaza at PCH and MacArther Boulevard. Activities include store-wide sales, giveaways and appearances by professional surfers and skateboarders, who will be on hand signing autographs. Jack’s Surfboards will be donating a portion of sales from the three days to the Surfrider Foundation. Additionally, customers who join or renew their Surfrider Foundation membership at the event will receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last).
“Jack’s Surfboards has had a long tradition of supporting our community,” says Jamal Addelmulti, co-owner. “We are thrilled to be using our new store opening to help support the Surfrider Foundation.”
Jack’s Surfboards, known worldwide for its leading edge surf apparel and products, will offer complete collections of the best surf brands that have made Jack’s legendary. Like its two sister stores, Jack’s at Corona Del Mar Plaza will feature some of the biggest names in surf, including Billabong, Volcom, Hurley, Quiksilver, Roxy and O’Neill, as well as top names in skate and snow.
