Jamie O'Brien, a big-time big-wave and acrobatic surfer from Haleiwa, Hawaii, added another video and board transfer to his decorated surfing resume with cool footage captured from the famous Pipeline.

A board transfer is the art of catching a wave with one surfboard and then transferring to a smaller surfboard before riding out the wave.

O'Brien, a.k.a. “JOB,” described it like this: "Pick the right wave, grab the board off the front with one hand, spin it around, [and] hopefully pull in and come out."

Watch him pull it off without a hitch:

Yes, we've seen Jamie O'Brien perform a board transfer before—at The Wedge in Newport Beach, California—but this might be the most impressive documentation of a board transfer, which is filmed via GoPro cameras from various angles, including from above.

It’s pretty impressive.
