Upon turning 21, Oahu pro surfer Kekoa Cazimero wasted no time in securing a beer sponsor. In fact, he signed a contract with Bud Light the same day he became legal to go on weekend-long beer benders like the staff here at TransWorld SURF. Perhaps we could secure the same kind of deal but with Pacifico?

HONOLULU, HI (June 9, 2010) – Professional surfer Kekoa Cazimero celebrated his 21st birthday and freshly inked sponsorships with Bud Light and Dave & Buster’s on Saturday, June 5, 2010.
Professional surfer and 2009 Reef Hawaiian Pro Champion Joel Centeio came out to celebrate Cazimero’s 21st birthday and new sponsorship. “I’m planning on having a good year with everything I do and I’m looking foward to making a strong competitive debut soon. It’s not a matter of if, It’s a matter of when.”
“I’ve set up step by step goals for myself this year. Qualifying for Triple Crown through the Hawaii ASP rankings was my main focus and also really hustling and being on it with photos and video.”
Cazimero also premiered a trailer to his next surf video project that night. The movie is tentatively titled That Was Then, This Was Now. It will be the sequel to Riding With Koa (2008).
DJ Lion of Judah spun the freshest hip hop and r&b tracks. Then Splitbreed took the stage for a special live performance.
