These surfers just won the contest to surf Kelly Slater’s wave pool

As you may recall Kelly Slater — 11-time surfing world champion and apparent Willy Wonka fan — announced in August that he was opening up a contest to bring two lucky winners out to his immaculate man-made wave in Lemoore, California, for two days and two nights to surf endless, perfect waves.

On Friday Omaze, the fundraising website Slater partnered with for the contest, announced the two winners of the contest in a short YouTube video:

The two winning surfers were identified only as Rob W. from Encinitas, Calif., and Palmer G. from Queensland, Australia. Omaze didn’t disclose the last name of either contest winner, but they both seemed beyond stoked.

“I’m not going to be able to focus on work the rest of the day, I want to go surfing now,” Rob is heard saying in the video after being told he’d won the contest.

Slater held the giveaway to raise money for the World Surf League’s nonprofit group, WSL PURE, which is dedicated to improving the condition of the world’s oceans.
