Oakley Inc. (NYSE:OO) today announced the promotion of Bill Daily to the newly created position of vice president of consumer marketing. Daily previously held the position of director of marketing.
Daily brings a comprehensive knowledge of brand building derived from nearly two decades of achievements with high-profile consumer brands. Since joining Oakley in 1999, Daily has provided leadership in the company’s successful advertising, public relations, and direct marketing campaigns. In his expanded role, Daily will continue to oversee Oakley consumer marketing and shape Oakley’s international advertising efforts.

Prior to joining Oakley, Daily held various senior marketing management roles at MasterCard International Inc. and The Quaker Oats Co. Daily has an extensive background in management with a variety of advertising agencies where he worked with clients including: Levi-Strauss and Co., Anheuser-Busch’s Michelob brand and McDonald’s Restaurants.
