OAM Inks 2007 Australian Pro Junior Champ Mitch Coleborn

March 28th, 2008: – Gold Coast Australia, On A Mission (OAM) is delighted to announce, 2007 ASP Australian Pro Junior Champion, Mitch Coleborn has beenrecruited to our global mission surf team.

Mitch joins current world number 3, and WCT surfer Bede Durbidge and the highly recognized US team of Taylor Knox, Shane Dorian, Ross Williams, the Malloy Brothers, Benji Weatherley, Alex Gray, Nate Yeomans, Melanie Bartels and Torrey Meister.

The powerful goofy footer from Queensland’s Sunshine coast will play a vital role in assisting with the re-launch of On A Mission’s new range of accessories into the Australian market.

“We are so stoked to have Mitch on the team, he was definitely one of our target riders and we are so happy to have him as a new member of the OAM family.”Announced Marketing Manager Dave Boehne. “Mitch has a strong presence both in Australia and in the US and is commanding respect, recently featuring on the cover of US surf magazine Transworld SURF. Mitch has got a great profile and is very marketable. We look forward to helping him elevate his profile here in the US.”

“Mitch is a great competitor, he keeps his cool and rips in both the larger and smaller surf conditions,” said Dave Boehne. “As you can see from his impressive results last year, the boys on the WQS and WCT circuits will definitely have Mitch snapping at their heels over the coming years.

“Last year was a great year for me, but I really want to keep pushing the limits and take my surfing to an all new level in 2008. It has been a great start to the year and I’m stoked to now be a part of the OAM team,” said Mitch Coleborn. “OAM has a really strong presence in the US, with a great team and great product. I look forward to helping them blow up again here in Oz.”
