Carlsbad, CA (March 7, 2011) – Dragon is proud to announce the appointment of Otto Flores to the international surf program. Otto will be an ambassador of surf and fun for the Puerto Rico area as well as be a major force in and out of the water for Dragon. Along with being one of the best surfers in Puerto Rico, Otto is a complete waterman who has surfed all over the world at some of the heaviest waves on offer. He now splits his time between surf trips, events, and marketing endeavors for many of the industry’s top brands.
“Traveling the world has brought me great friends and many different perspectives within the surf culture. Working with Dragon is a great opportunity to bring it all back and translate the vibe to such a great place that I can call home”, says Otto. “Dragon has a lot of roots in Puerto Rico and I look forward to growing the brand with the local surfers here.”

Along with waiving the Dragon flag in the water, Otto will be assisting with retail relations and running grass-roots marketing style events to help to build the brand in Puerto Rico. He will also be mentoring a great amateur surf team there and will be working with some of the best Puerto Rican surfers like local pro Tommy Bursian.
