Ehukai Beach Park
It’s about 6:00 p.m. at Ehukai Beach Park. As the sun sets, three bronzed beach bunnies contemplate their plans for the coming evening. “Who’s having a party?” “Should we go to Haleiwa Joe’s?” Where’s Parko staying?” “Who was that guy on that last wave?”[IMAGE 1]
If you were lucky enough to be on the North Shore this winter, you no doubt saw a lot of fine women strutting their stuff on and around the beaches of the miracle mile. “There’re so many chicks over here this year. I reckon I’ve had a root every day of the week, mate,” laughed an unidentified Australian pro.
I witnessed first-hand the growing number of ladies on the north shore while surfing Rocky Point. A well-tanned female surfer wearing a baby-blue G-string dropped in on me and ripped a bottom turn right in front of my face. Needless to say, I wasn’t mad about the drop in. In fact, I wanted to thank her–it was one of the best waves I got all winter.–C.C.
