(Huntington Beach, CA) June 3, 2008 — Quiksilver and Roxy Surf Camps areback in session this summer for a seventh consecutive year. Surfacing atmore than 20 beaches throughout North America, Quiksilver and Roxy SurfCamps will continue to offer top-notch surfing instruction, surfingetiquette and information on ocean safety, in addition to a new curriculumon the ocean and the environment co-designed by Quiksilver and SurfriderFoundation.
Labeled by Quiksilver and Roxy as the Blue Book, the new curriculum featuredat the surf camps this summer will be a composite of environmentalinformation, emphasizing ocean awareness and the many ways kids can make adifference. The Blue Book gives camp participants the opportunity to pairsummer fun with a greater knowledge and appreciation of the ocean.
