Quiksilver Announces Invitees To The Eddie Aikau Big Wave Event

Quiksilver has announced the invitees to the 2004-05 Quiksilver In Memory Of Eddie Aikau big-wave event. Twenty-four of the world’s best known big-wave chargers will be on hold for 20-foot waves (40-foot faces in Hawaiian measurements) at Waimea Bay starting December 3 and ending February 28, 2005. Last year the Bay never got big and clean enough to hold the Eddie, but hopefully this year conditions will be favorable, because when it’s good and huge the Eddie is amazing to watch.
