Reef Fortifies North Shore Presence with the Addition of Sean Moody

San Diego, CA (May 9th, 2006) — Reef makes a key move to strengthen the Hawaiian contingent with the recent signing of Sean Moody. The 23-year old Haleiwa local, currently competing on the WQS tour, will represent the Reef brand for apparel and footwear.??Moody sits #39 on the WQS, and will battle it out for the next 8 months alongside new travel partner Ben Bourgeois, as both aim to qualify for the CT in 07′. ??Reef’s Global Team Manager, Heath Walker, states, “With 4 years of grueling WQS experience under his belt, and the support system of Reef and his fellow riders, we’re sure he’ll capitalize on this opportunity to propel him to the next stage. ???

Moody will be with familiar company on the Reef team, representing the brand alongside friends and fellow Hawaiian all-stars Evan Valiere and Stephen Koehne. Moody is also good mates with Bobby Martinez, current #4 in the world on the WCT. ???

He has all the talent in the world, and we’re stoked to have him riding for Reef.??Moody barely had time to read his contract and pack his bags before Reef whisked him away for a photo trip to Puerto Escondido, where he is currently shooting with fellow Reef teamrider Leigh Sedley (Aus) and staff photographer Scott Aichner.
