Rest In Peace Spencer Clay
We are sad to announce the loss of Encinitas, California surfer Spencer Clay. Always the adventurer, his love of life revolved around the ocean where he spent many of his days surfing the beaches of San Diego and San Clemente with his brother Johnny. A multi-sport athlete, Spencer excelled in motocross, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and fiancée Sarah. The day of his passing, a very rare and extremely brilliant double rainbow appeared along with one of the most majestic sunsets ever seen in San Diego just to let us know he is at peace.
Services for Spencer were held at Ponto State Beach in Carlsbad on 10/9/10 the day he was to be married to his college sweetheart. We love you Spencer and you will be forever missed but always alive in our hearts!—Mike Mahoney, a friend ff TransWorld SURF
