The second round of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast will be in the water at the event’s prime location, Snapper Rocks, and the wave known as the Super Bank.
?The surf today is sitting in the four foot (1 metre) range out at Snapper Rocks with some really contestable walls rolling through,? said Rod Brooks, Quiksilver Pro Event Director. ?We?re going to get underway with the men?s Round 2 this morning at 7:30am and we?re looking for an exciting day of competition.?
First in the water will be the much anticipated heat between three-time ASP World Champion, Andy Irons, and 16-year old, Kummunity Project Trials champion, Tamaroa McComb.
