Shark breaches near the Upper Trestles lineup on Easter; video

On Easter Sunday 2017, Surfline’s Cam Rewind captured footage of a shark breaching from the water, just outside the Upper Trestles lineup in Southern California.

The breach occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, and it appears there were about a dozen surfers in the water.

As reported by Surfline, a surfer in the water stated that only one person exited the lineup after the breach occurred.

It remains unclear what type of shark this was, however less than one week ago, a great white was reported breaching just south of Upper Trestles at Lowers.
