SANTA CRUZ, CA (June 20, 2002) — America based Dos Equis stands solidly behind domestic pro surfing with the $20,000 Paul Mitchell Huntington Beach Pro, the first stop on the Dos Equis Professional Surfing Tour of America (PSTA) in Huntington Beach at the south side of the pier, June 29 — July 2, 2003. The contest will feature a PSTA sanctioned men’s and women’s shortboarding event along with PSTA-sanctioned longboard events, this season will also feature the popular “BIC one design Challenge.

This year marks the second year the tour has visited Huntington Beach, and also the PSTA’s first visit to Huntington Beach Pier. The Paul Mitchell Pro in Huntington Beach is helping to pave the way for a strong U.S. pro surfing tour through exciting sports programming and exposure on the Outdoor Life Network.
