Without a doubt the fittest girl on the ASP World Tour, Courtney Conlogue caught our eye a few years ago during the US Open where she paddled out and tore into solid, eight to ten foot bombs and won the contest at her home break. A fan of boxing, cross country running, and anything else that gets the heart pounding, Courtney won her first WCT event this year when she scalped the field at the Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic in Australia.

One of the new breed of girls on the elite ASP World Tour, Lakey Peterson mixes big airs with a clean Rincon-bred style. A winner of the 2012 US Open Of Surfing, Lakey was featured in Nike's female surf movie, Leave A Message, and finished the year ranked #7 on the women's ASP World Championship Tour. A philanthropist as well as ripping surfer, Lakey is the co-founder of the Clean Water Tour, a music and film festival that connects people around the globe with shared interests in clean water causes. Along with her previously mentioned accolades, Lakey's grandfather invented the McDonald's McMuffin, hence the McDonalds sponsorship.

A talented and charging goofyfoot, Ellie Jean has traveled the world with the Billabong girls surf team and is one of the new breed of girls who's just as comfortable at a modeling shoot as she is in a contest jersey. After finishing 2012 rated #38 in the ASP World Rankings, expect Ellie Jean to make the big leagues and do some damage in 2013.

One of, if not the most, famous surfers on the planet, Bethany survived a tiger shark attack while surfing on her native Kauai when she was just thirteen years old. Less than a month after having her arm amputated following the attack, Bethany fearlessly returned to the water and was surfing better than ever. Since then, Bethany has had a major motion picture, Soul Surfer, made about her, received an MTV Teen Choice Award, towed in at Jaws, and inspired thousands of people worldwide with her story and courage.

Splitting time between her native New York and the warm barrels of Puerto Rico, Quincy has emerged as one of the best young surfers to come out of the East Coast in years. The 2010 ASP World Champion in 2011, Carissa Moore blew the lid off the Women's tour that year and has been a force to be reckoned with since then. In 2012 'Riss had to deal with a back-in-form Stephanie Gilmore and placed 3rd in the year-end ratings. That said, the Honolulu native has been training hard on the North Shore with her Nike pit crew and will look to avenge her 3rd place finish. Far from a one trick pony, Carissa Moore also has an amazing voice—she sang for us one night and it was amazing! On the downside (at least for the single guys out there), the lovely Hawaiian now has a steady boyfriend and is off the market. Yep, all the good ones are taken!

One of our favorite surfer girls to follow on instagram, Bruna has been dating French pro surfer Jeremy Flores for several years now, making them the ultimate surfing couple. Girlfriend of Maui pro surfer Granger Larsen, Laura appeared in Nike's Leave A Message and finished 2012 in the #8 slot. A competitive gymnast until she gave it up for surfing, Laura's surfing is just like her personality—spontaneous and wild. Hailing from a family of Hawaiian surfers, Kelia "Sister" Moniz grew up surfing with four brothers and dad, Tony—a top pro in the 80s. Being the only girl (besides her mom) Kelia grew thick skin and has always considered herself one of the boys. Her upbringing also paved her way to a 2012 ASP Women's Longboard World Championship, a feat she recently accomplished after winning the Swatch Girls Pro China.
