The Reef “On Unfavourable Days” Photo Exhibition Now Showing In New York

Surf Photographers Erick and Ian Regnard known as Tungsten have put togethera collection of Black and White photos for an exhibition called “onunfavourable days.”


The Reef “on unfavourable days” exhibition is photographs done while Erickand Ian could not work as surf photographers while on the world tour and aswell as working for four years as the official photographers for the PerthInternational Art Festival.

The exhibition is a showcase of people we all admire, from surfers to musicto models featuring the likes of the Buena Vista social club, Tom Carrol,Buffalo, Nat Young, Kelly Slater, Richard Branson, Helena Christensen andmore. The photos were taken across the globe in faraway places such asMadagascar, Reunion Island, Tahiti, Hawaii, France, Australia and Cuba.

“unfavourable” also describes the difficulty it took to reach people andcomplete the shoot.

The exhibition is part of a world tour including Perth, Hong Kong, Sydney,New York and Paris.

Showing at the Edward Carter Gallery from the 5th of June to the 5th ofJuly.
