Timmy Reyes Wins Second Stop Of The Surf Ride $100K Pro-Am By Vans; Stop #3 This Sunday In San Diego
Top pros, juniors and family divisions competitors battled it out at the Surf Ride $100,000 Pro-Am this past weekend in Huntington Beach. When the dust settled it, was local boy Timmy Reyes of Huntington Beach who walked away with the big check.
Joining Reyes in the action packed Pro final was Teddy Navarro, Micah Byrne and Austin Ware. “All the boys were ripping today so I’m fortunate to pull out the win. It feels good to do well at a spot I grew up surfing too,” said Reyes.
The Juniors, Boys, Groms and Women’s divisions were packed with Americas best and brightest young surf stars too, many of which are Surfing America team members, WSA Prime and NSSA divisional standouts.
The fine folks at Vans hosted a delicious carne asada BBQ for all to enjoy, while Kicker Audio provided amazing sound for the event and sweet headphones for the finalists.
