For the nineteenth year, the world-renowned U.S. Open of Surfing will once again explode along the shores of Huntington Beach, CA. TransWorld Media is pleased to be the official action sports media partner of the contest and also the host of the TransWorld SURF Lounge. The Lounge will be a central point on the beach, bringing the hottest DJ’s, punk bands, video games and contests to the most prestigious professional surfing event in the world.

With an annual attendance of over 150,000 spectators and tremendous international media coverage, the U.S. Open of Surfing is globally known as the “godfather” of sports festivals. In addition to world-class surfing, the Open will feature the Philips Fusion “Soul Bowl” BMX and skateboarding event, and the coveted World Industries WWIII “best trick” skateboarding event.

The TransWorld SURF Lounge is looking to mix it up by offering a cool place to chill; play the newest surf, skate, and BMX video games; see your favorite DJ or punk band; and have your picture taken with a pro. Contests and giveaways, including the always-crazy Ghetto Games, will be going on throughout the week at the Lounge as well. Food and beverage will also be available in the Lounge and VIP skybox.
