On Saturday night, the house of Fernando Aguerre underwent its annual transformation into an illuminated setting for the surf industry’s philanthropic soiree of the year.
Members of the surf industry came together to support this year’s Humanitarian of the Year honoree, Shaney Jo Darden, founder of Keep A Breast, as well as participate in the annual auction, which helped SIMA raise $128,000.
Shaney Jo gave a wonderfully heart-felt speech as she accepted her award and spoke about her experience building the Keep A Breast Foundation to the level that it is at today, a true reflection of how a little hard work can go a long way.
Guests enjoyed great food, music, drinks, and mingling along with the night’s auction festivities. The night was a success to say the least. Take a look through the gallery above to grab a first hand glimpse of all the action.
