On the heels of company-wide restructing and re-aligning of goals, GoPro has announced a new program for consumers, meant to help take aging, out-of-use GoPros off their hands and provide them with a discounted HERO5.
The new program, which GoPro refers to as their “Trade-Up” program, is simple in its execution, with a plethora of benefits, both for the consumer and the company.
GoPro gets new cameras off the shelf and into the hands of consumers, while said consumers get to rid themselves of dead-weight, as well as feel good about their recycling efforts.
If you’re looking to take advantage of the program, the process is easy: go to the Trade-Up page on the company’s site, and follow the instructions. Once you’ve given GoPro the appropriate information, they’ll send you a shipping label for your old camera.
In no time, you’ll have a discounted HERO5 at your doorstep. It’s $100 off a HERO5 Black, or $50 off a HERO5 Session.
