An unmatched skateboarding campus just got better. The Northwest's largest indoor skate park now has an improved street section. Windells BOB (Building Out Back) added on a staircase, railing, ledges and even some brickwork to the 15,000 sq. foot facility in time for the summer sessions – which kick off June 6th.
BOB's new features add to the already state-of-the-art facility that is designed not only for any weather fun, but also to improve skills of all riders. The BOB has a 75 ft mini ramp, street course, an Olympic size trampoline and giant foam pit provide riders with the opportunity to safely work on new tricks and maneuvers.
Besides the indoor facility, campers at Windells also have access to skateable terrain snaking through campus, the vert ramp, a demo shed full of the newest products and professional coaching. Shaun White, Ryan Sheckler, Bam Margera, and current skater of the year Silas Baxter Neal have all been campers or coaches at Windells.
Skateboard camps run all summer long and kids have the opportunity to take advantage of all the great skating in the northwest. Besides Windells one of a kind campus, campers get the opportunity to travel like the pros to several of the regions famous skate parks.
"Windells was the best time ever," says camper Mikael Benedick. "I feel like I was time warped into feeling like a pro."
From learning how to ollie properly to catching air on the vert ramp, Windells coaching and facility cover every beginner to the elite experts.
