What are the biggest forces shaping the changes and developments you've made to your boards?
We have developed the first ever pipe specific board for APO. The STW has a soft torsional flex yet is stiff from tip to tail. It also has an uber big sidecut radius allowing super sharp turns.
To what degree are you emphasizing camber shape and core profiles in your lineup?
We roughly have 75 to 80% of non-regular camber boards which roughly reflects sales in general.
Are you cooking up any new materials or construction techniques?
We use a technology called PLT, which is a super thin layer of UV stable gloss lacquer, which avoids any cracking issues. This super thin layer also helps combat added weight. PLT also has a far less negative impact on the environment, as we do not use a spray application system. In fact, the topsheet is lighter, more solid, and ecological.
What themes are you seeing for graphics?
We always search for many different artists to get a wide style of graphics, but we are really influenced by the urban culture.
