Body of San Diego Surfer Found Near Ventura

According to a story posted Monday, May 5, on the San Diego Union Tribune official Web site, a San Diego man who was surfing with friends off the coast of Santa Cruz Island Friday, May 2, was found dead by park rangers about 20 miles south of Ventura Harbor, according to a story posted on 10News.com. Friends had reported the man, identified as 43-year-old John M. Wagner, as missing to the Coast Guard after he went underwater for unknown reasons and didn’t resurface, the Union Tribune reported.
