DayTripperGear.com, a start-up out of Northern California, has opened its brick-and-mortar equivalent outside of North Lake Tahoe. (Grass Valley, California) – Focused on creating a location that caters to the active, outdoor lifestyle, DayTripperGear.com was launched earlier this summer.  Last week, it's brick and mortar counterpart, Day Tripper, opened its doors, just in time for the holiday season.

Ronnie Tambourine and Travis Wood have teamed up and taken their action sports industry experience to the other side of the table.  After spending years working with brands, both designing products, as well as sales and marketing campaigns, the two have created a new place for consumers to find high quality accessories, 'regardless of their day trip'.

Based out of Northern California, Day Tripper is located on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just outside North Lake Tahoe.  Both the storefront and the online store, www.daytrippergear.com, feature sought-after brands that sell themselves and carry the types of products consumers tend to 'lose, forget, or buy multiples of' in a year.

"Sunglasses, goggles, watches, t-shirts, hoodies, gloves, sandals, boardshorts… these are the types of products we are showcasing, as these are the items that consumers, including ourselves, tend to buy often", says Tambourine.  "Regardless of whether you are headed to the lake, going hiking, mountain biking or riding, something is always left behind.  Our retail location is located right off the freeway and you have to pass us on your way to just about anywhere in the area", "our online offering allows you to pick up the items you may have lost last time, before you head out again"

"Product categories and brands are being added to the mix constantly and the received response to both our online store and the physical location has been tremendous".  We are excited to have these new opportunities", added Wood.

Next time you're in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area of Northern California and you are looking to pick up a little something new to make your 'day trip' that much more fun, make sure to swing in and say hello.  Otherwise, you can always visit them online and since shipping is free in the US (including Hawaii and Alaska!) with no minimum order, you can get what you need sent anywhere.
