Denver Hosts Snowboard Big Air World Cup January 26

Denver will host the World Cup Snowboard Big Air during the SIA Snow show this year, as part of the Denver Big Air event. As the snow show quickly approached, get caught up on what’s taking place at denverbigair.org. Details follow:

Day two, Wednesday, Jan. 26, of Denver Big Air will feature the LG FIS World Cup Snowboard Big Air, a World Cup sanctioned event that boasts an international roster of the top male snowboarders from around the globe. Riders will take on the steel truss and scaffolding ramp that stands at a massive 101 feet tall and 80 feet wide. Throwing themselves off the massive ramp, riders will perform their best tricks for World Cup ranking points and their share of the prize purse. Denver Big Air is a unique opportunity to experience the World’s best snowboarders performing in the urban downtown environment of Denver, Colorado.
