HICKORY, N.C. (July 19, 2012) – North Carolina-based Dirtball developed this concept as a way to highlight the talents of regionally-based mountain bikers as well as to promote the importance of mountain bike trails and environmental awareness in the Carolinas.

We have great partners like Monster Energy, Handy Mart, who will be promoting this tour at all the Handy Mart locations through out eastern North Carolina as well as The Bicycle Post, Wake County Parks and Rec., Brunswick County Parks and Rec., a DJ and vendor village and it'll be a great time. "We are proud to have created what will be the only SouthEast mountain bike tour of its kind with this size purse and format," said Fox.
