“What’s Next” will showcase brands that disrupt the classic model, as well as evolve with markets that are constantly changing
October 4, 2016 – On October 18 & 19 the industry's tried and true brands will share the stage with a crop of the next up and coming designers; all with the intention of making meaningful connections with the country's best retailers. Every year the tradeshow industry is challenged to breath life into a rapidly changing business model and LA Men's Market continues to do this by giving clients a streamlined, design-driven experience that is free from distraction. Buyers are continuously treated to a curated arrangement of the world's top brands from the footwear, lifestyle, streetwear, action sports and contemporary spaces.
So what comes next? That's exactly what Kellen Roland and the LA Men's Market team will demonstrate through their newest curated section aptly titled, What’s Next. "These are the brands that are disrupting the classic model, implementing social media to capitalize on the digital marketplace and being highly considerate of whom they sell too," says Roland. He continues to state that "the mediums to bring a product to market are constantly changing and we as the show must evolve with the market. We want to give these new designers a physical stage to showcase their goods next to the global brands that they already share the digital stage with." The October Show will demonstrate a cross-section of the industry putting brands like 10 DEEP, Asics, Banks, Billionaire Boys Club, Cote & Ciel, DQM, Herschel Supply, Levi's, Native Youth, Nixon, Obey, Pendleton, Slowtide, Stussy, Timberland, Undefeated and Zanerobe next to the likes of Brothers Marshall, Carrots by Anwar Carrots, Luke Vicious, Lumieres by Kai and Lyz Olko.
LA Men’s Market continues to be a business-first show and the team always puts a tremendous effort into gathering key buyers from all over the US. A market-style space featuring the best LA eateries has historically ensured that attendees of the show never go hungry while libraries, barbers & bartenders keep them well-read, groomed and hydrated. Along with working with Om Nom Organics, Free Range LA & House Beer, this season the Show will take it's affinity for coffee a step further by providing the platform for East Coast staple, La Colombe, to bring their signature roasts to the West Coast through an exclusive partnership that will only be available at the show.
