The beautiful New England weather continued as TransWorld Biz made the trek even further north, crossing the bridge from New Hampshire into Maine: “The Way Life Should Be.” On our journey, we stopped by the sleepy seacoast town of Wells to visit long-time shop owner Vic Brazen at his new Wheels And Waves location along Post Road.
Known as Maine’s oldest surf shop, Wheels and Waves first got its start back in 1974 under another name and at a location just down the street from where the retailer is located today. Brazen, who moved the shop to its new location about a decade ago, stocks a range of surf, skate, and BMX gear. Located centrally, the shop gets an equal amount of both local and tourist traffic, and has been a staple for the action sports community in the region.
We were lucky enough to take the tour from Vic and his loyal pup. Check out what’s inside Wheels and Waves right here.
