PRESS RELEASE – For the last three seasons, Nokia and Burton have been tinkering away on some truly innovative collaborations. Now their latest innovation – an exclusive Burton smartphone app designed to improve the rider experience of every shredder on the hill – has just hit the virtual shelves.
So how does it work? As well as plenty of Burton gear and film content, the app’s main features help with three classic shred preoccupations: photos, snow and music.
How? The Burton Sequencer enables you to film your lines and tricks and stitch them together into instant morphed sequences exactly like you see in snowboarding magazines, which you can share online to Facebook and Twitter.
Then there’s the Burton Forecast function, which lets you check the snow levels, weather conditions and see which runs are open at over 2600 resorts.
Once you’re there, the Tune Up function is pre-loaded with shred-ready playlists so you can get juiced up on the hill.
The app is completely free and exclusively available in the Windows Phone Store for Nokia Lumia 620, 820 and 920 devices.
