Don’t forget your sunscreen, it’s officially spring in North Lake Tahoe, and that means great weather, blue skies and tons of snow for skiers and snowboarders along with a variety of fun events including live music on the deck each Saturday at both Alpine Meadows and Sugar Bowl, the Spring it On! Festival at Northstar-at-Tahoe on April 19th, and in the Village at Squaw Valley the Mamasake Wasabi and Sushi Eating Contest on April 20, and the North Lake Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Festival, scheduled for April 25 and 26.
Northstar-at-Tahoe is also celebrating Earth Day April 20 and is offering free preferred parking to guests driving hybrids, and matching Green Tag contributions to offset carbon emissions.

North Lake Tahoe is a 45-minute drive from the Reno Tahoe International Airport, two hours from Sacramento International Airport and just over three hours from San Francisco International Airport. Visitor information centers are located at 380 North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City and 969 Tahoe Boulevard in Incline Village.
